According
to St. Augustine, the true religion was always in existence.
When Christ came in the flesh, it began to be called
Christianity.
Saints and sages throughout the ages have been in touch with the
wisdom of this true religion. This is why all major religions
contain aspects of a Universal Truth.
Esoteric Christianity focuses on awakening the Christ Within,
listening to and responding to inner guidance. Meditation and
prayer are the tools for cultivating awareness of the
nonphysical life of the soul. As humanity takes the next step
from rational mind to intuition, the need for dogmas and
doctrines fades. Esoteric Christianity embraces and
contemplates the truths expressed in all religions.
Beginning the quest for that "next step", Sophia returns to
birth the Christ Within. Sophia, silently waiting for humanity
to respond, is that "wee small voice within" which becomes our
guide. Meditation is the path to build the bridge of
consciousness between the conscious mind and the intuitive
plane. Study groups become a means of anchoring the
understanding of the awakening process and sharing the
experience the light of the soul. The Age of Aquarius brings
new ways of learning, one being growing and learning through
group work. The model of the guru is replaced; a new structure
for invoking knowledge from the higher realms becomes apparent
as groups gather to study esoteric teachings, sometimes known as
mysteries. These mysteries reveal themselves the prepared
aspirant through the wisdom invoked through meditation and
study.
Sophia, translated from Greek, means "wisdom." Sophia is the
divine feminine, which expresses the qualities of the soul:
intuition, creativity, forgiveness. She comes to balance the
energies that were required by humanity build the rational mind.
Sophia's time has come; welcome her. Each world tradition has an
outer form by which the world recognizes it and an inner
practice that transforms. Judaism has Kabala. Islam has Sufism.
Christianity has its esoteric tradition called Sophianic. See
the life of Jesus Christ as the pattern of initiation that we
each seek to follow. Realize the richness of the Christian
tradition without the limitations of dogma.
Esoteric Christianity 1: Hidden Wisdom of the Bible
Together we will explore the Faith, its
origins, and its powerful message. Esoteric teachings are
designed to lead us deep within to the core of our nature and
turn on the energies that ignite Love-Wisdom and the Will to
walk the Path of Initiation.
The powerful magnet Christianity introduced to the world through
the message of Jesus Christ was "equality" for all. As souls we
recognize our sameness, but we also all realize personalities
are not equal. Some are more talented, some less so, but the
Soul of each is precious. We strive for a way to live from the
heart. We shall explore the lessons, assignments, and tools of
transformation to make them our own.

Esoteric Christianity 2: Mystic Path of Transformation
Embracing Sophia as the Holy Spirit of Wisdom, we will expand
our understanding through a new look at the Bible, grasping a
bit of Gnosticism, exploring the Mysteries and the role of
prayer and meditation. Within our era Christianity is maturing
to take its place within the family of world religions. We would
be wise ones of our tradition.
We embrace the healing consciousness as we move from dogma to
spirituality, from the law approach to the heart centered way of
life. We restore respect for the Mother who has always been with
us even when her presence was denied. The holy path leads deep
within, and we are destined to come to know the ways of the
Soul. We shall continue to use the EC course lessons and learn
how to lead others in the study of them.
