AQUARIAN ROSARY
All are welcome to join the practice of the Aquarian
Rosary, THIRD Friday of each month at 7 pm in the east transept of Trinity
Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento.
The Aquarian Rosary is an adaptation of the traditional rosary that
embraces the divine feminine aspect of God. Devotion to Mary brings forth our
receptive, and nurturing qualities to help balance society and our selves. This
unique version of the rosary is from the book, The Aquarian Rosary, Reviving
the Art of Mantra Yoga by Rev. Carol Parrish-Harra, Ph.D.
The practice of meditation with beads
is found in all faith traditions. During the rosary, the fingers move along the
beads, the heart focuses on devotion, and the mind contemplates the mysteries.
Our attention is lifted to the higher realms. The practice invokes the
power of Good into each life, uplifts and stimulates open minds, and builds the
heart center of the unfolding human soul.
Reminder: The Labyrinth is set up at Trinity on the third Friday of each month.
Join us for Rosary, and walk the labyrinth afterward!
"The rosary can be a useful tool to fan the flame of the
human heart so that devotion may rise like a sweet smoke before the Cosmic
Heart, energizing emerging patterns of life for a more fully-aware humanity."1
