PSYCHOGRAPHY - HEALING OF MEMORIES - A METHOD OF SELF DISCOVERY

Psychography is a spiritual therapy that assists clients to recall and heal memories. This therapeutic technique referred to as “healing of the memories” is defined as the “mapping of the soul." It reveals forces from the past effecting the personality and its life experiences that influence the person now. The session brings these experiences to be consciously released and healed. The therapist guides the client inward using an altered-state therapeutic approach that is not hypnotic.

This therapy is entered into with prayer and thoughtfulness, invoking guidance from the Most High. Following a discussion of what issues the client brings to work on, the therapists leads the client in to a state of relaxation allowing him or her to maintain self-control with an attitude of self-observation. The psychographist gently guides the client using active imagination to recall significant experiences. In the regressed state, one is ultimately guided by the "Inner Knower", which presents the issues to be healed.

Using prayer, forgiveness and a variety of spiritual healing techniques, the therapist helps the client to resolve emotions and feelings from past memories. As unresolved emotions are also held in the physical body, hands on healing is sometimes used, as appropriate, to heal the memories. Psychography is a valuable tool included in a holistic approach to healing and personal growth.  After a session clients often report a sense of freedom and having gained valuable insight into situations in this life.
