MEDITATION
Learn to meditate. The three volume set, Adventure in Meditation, Spirituality for the 21st Century, by Carol E. Parrish-Harra, Ph.D. provides insights and develops trust in one's own intuitive ability to go beyond the surface meanings of words and concepts to the mind of God. This course allows you to move at your own pace, with an option to correspond with a meditation tutor.

SEED-THOUGHT MEDITATION
Seed-thought meditation is a practice to pierce the veil that separates the lower mind from the higher mind. This form of meditation penetrates beyond rational meaning and opens ones to insight available from the Cloud of Knowable Things, th storehouse of knowledge contacted on higher levels of the mental plane. Those practicing seed-thought meditation can draw upon great beauty, wisdom and inspiration through awakening perceptions.
APPROACHES TO MEDITATION
Passive. Gentle and receptive style of meditation that builds the mechanism needed to capture the droplets received for conscious comprehension.
Active. A poised, alert state of mind intended to pierce the veils to the quality and essence of a thought. Seed-thought meditation is an active meditation intended to penetrate the "cloud of knowable things."
Purification. Techniques designed to heal and cleanse the astral and mental ethers of psychic residue that obscures higher consciousness.
Specific Purpose. The purpose of this type of meditation determines the technique, which includes a variety such as healing techniques, directing energy to others, or opening the heart center.
Service. Some meditations that are performed regularly can be a form of service, love, or commitment to a cause. These forms of meditation include visualizing world peace, world healing meditation, praying the rosary with an intention, or linking coworkers.
Soul Alignment. Soul alignment techniques help us to response to impressions, higher will and greater love. These techniques build the receiver set to perceive and respond to subtler influences.
