Special
guests, the Dunn Family, will be coming from the bay area to share their
Baba music with us. The Dunns - Greg, Gay, and Aminta – perform acoustic
music that incorporates elements of pop, classical, folk, and
devotional.
Their repertoire includes original songs by Greg and Aminta, Baba
standards, sing-alongs, covers from many genres, and pop songs “tweaked”
to bring out their inner Baba. Learn about Meher Baba's Life and Message of Divine Love. All are welcome. |

This monthly study group meeting is dedicated to spiritual practices and teachings to support your inner life, bring positive influence to our environment, and support planetary healing. We will explore meditation, prayer, affirmation, and disciplines appropriate to these times. We ponder old and new questions of the soul. Awaken to the voice of wisdom within.
The "Awakening to the Inner Life" study group meets the third Monday each month at 6:30 at the Sierra 2 Center. At 6:30, the group will participate in a contemplative or meditative practice. At 7:00 pm, there will be a presentation and discussion of a topic designed to provide insight as you walk your unique spiritual path.
The Figueira Study Group Network offers anyone interested in the work of the Figueira monastery in Brazil the opportunity to go deeper into these teachings. The Sacramento Study meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30 at the Sierra 2 Center in room 9. Individuals continue their personal practice and study for throughout the month. At 6:30 the group gathers to chant mantras in the cosmic language of Irdin. At 7:00 pm, the group will listen to the study group CD for the week. You are welcome to join us at 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm according to your interest in the group.
Individuals and groups in the Network listen to lectures, at a time of their choosing. By listening to the same lecture each week an energy field is generated from the collective effort of all those in the Network. http://www.callinghumanity.org/study_group.html
ESOTERIC CHRISTIANITY and ITS HIDDEN MYSTERIES
Thirty lessons to explore the hidden side of Christianity. Learn about the inner path of Christianity. All spiritual paths meet in their mystical traditions. This course uses the material from the Sophia On-line class.
If you are interested in course material, please contact Marilyn at 916-812-9496. Marilyn is a Sancta Sophia Seminary mentor for this course. You can study the lessons on your own, with an option to have Marilyn as a personal guide through the material.
Marilyn facilitates occasional meetings for those seeking to learn more about Meher Baba's message of divine love. These meetings are held at the Arden-Dimick library at the corner of Watt and Northrop Avenues in Sacramento, and are free and open to all. A meeting may include watching a DVD about Meher Baba's life, listening to CDs of talks given by those who spent time with Meher Baba, reading from books by and about Meher Baba, and/or singing devotional songs.

MARRIAGE OF SPIRIT - RECONCILIATION AND UNIFICATION OF OPPOSITES
Learn to identify and bring to awareness mental and emotional states of consciousness that have previously been cause of unconscious reactions. Utilizing the Marriage of Spirit processing techniques, cultivate the neutral witness, break the ego structures, and move to the ascended state of consciousness. These techniques are tools for working with the shadow (unconscious states of mind) to free themselves and others from reactionary states of consciousness and to recreate balance and harmony in the midst of our every day life, and invite grace into our lives.
